Monira Diallo
Legal & Corporate Director

Monira is a lawyer at the Versailles Bar. At the fund manager AFIG Funds (+US$260M under management) as an investment officer until 2018, she led fundraising, the opening of the Abidjan office, legal due diligence of transactions and supervision of portfolio companies. She practiced as a lawyer in Johannesburg in the Africa Practice Group of ENSafrica, the largest law firm in Africa, and in Paris in the Africa Legal & Tax Department of EY Sociétés d’Avocats, where she advised companies on their operations in over 20 countries. Monira holds an MBA from ESCP Europe and manages Amandla’s transactions, human resources, legal, tax and administrative matters. 

Mohamed Wade
Director, Chief Executive Officer

Mohamed has nearly 30 years of business leadership and investment banking experience in emerging markets and leads Amandla Capital. He has developed access to finance for SMEs and executed agribusiness investments in Africa and Eastern Europe at the International Finance Corporation (IFC – World Bank). Mohamed is a director of several companies in West and North Africa. He founded Amandla Capital Real Estate and led the structuring and development of the hotel real estate pipeline. On the Board of Directors of Amandla Capital, Mohamed is accountable for the company’s strategy and performance.

Jean N’Sélé
Administrator

During his 30-year career in banking, capital markets & corporate finance, Jean has arranged close to US$2 billion in transactions. After several years at Citigroup, notably as head of corporate finance and capital markets for West Africa, he launched investment banking activities (Impaxis Capital then Daimyo Partners). Jean is also an advisor to African Guarantee Fund (AGF) and a director of Orange Money Côte d’Ivoire after serving as chairman of the risk committee of the board of Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire until 2017. Jean brings to Amandla Capital’s Board of Directors his network and expertise in the regional capital market.

Chinwe Ajene-Sagna (MRICS)
Administrator

Chinwe has over 20 years of experience in strategic consulting, asset management and real estate portfolio rationalization transactions. She spent 14 years with John Lang Lasalle (JLL) on 3 continents, opened the West Africa office in Nigeria, started the international desk for France in Paris for Fortune 500 companies, is currently Head of Development for Africa at Rendeavour, and brings to the Board of Amandla Capital her expertise in asset rationalization and real estate portfolios for institutional and corporate investors.

Paul Ansah
Administrator

Paul has been a hotel expert for 15 years. Prior to his role as Senior VP at Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), a global business strategy firm chaired by Madeleine Albright, he built his experience at Marriott Hotels where he was responsible for the global leader’s expansion into 30 countries across Africa and the Indian Ocean and entry strategy into new markets. He successfully led the identification, evaluation, negotiation and signing of 35 new hotels worth US$2.5 billion. Paul brings to Amandla Capital’s Board of Directors a deep knowledge of the hotel industry and operators in Africa and internationally.

Elliot Zounon
Non-Executive Advisor

Elliot contributes to the development of Amandla Capital’s strategy and activities with expertise primarily in real estate asset management. During his professional career, Elliot has specialized in the capital markets and real estate investment field, providing investors with access to unique investment opportunities. In over 5 years at CBRE, the world’s leading real estate services company, he accelerated the growth of the consulting and data center businesses. With an international profile, he holds an Executive Master’s degree in Corporate Finance and Law from ESADE (Barcelona, Spain) and a Master’s degree in Banking, Finance and Financial Engineering from Panthéon Assas University (France).

Monira est avocate du Barreau de Versailles. Yacine Laye Paye
Real Estate Development Manager

Yacine joins Amandla Capital in January 2023 as Real Estate Project Manager. Based in Dakar, she brings to Amandla her expertise in setting up, designing and financial analysis of real estate projects as well as in coordinating technical studies for design and execution. Before joining Amandla, Yacine was in charge of studies and development within the SERTEM Group, a major player in the real estate sector in Senegal and in the sub-region. Yacine started her career in France at Bouygues Bâtiment IDF where she stayed for almost 8 years and left as BIM Engineering Coordination Manager to come back to Africa. Yacine graduated from Ecole Centrale Lille (France) as an Engineer and from the University of Lorraine (France) with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering.

Franck Ayécoué
Real Estate Program Manager

Franck joined Amandla Capital in August 2021. Based in Abidjan, he started his career at NSIA Bank as a real estate finance officer. He then offered telecom services (optical fiber, automated access and home automation) to the real estate segment successively for Moov, MTN and Orange. His passion for real estate guided his reconversion after a Master’s degree in Real Estate and Services Management at ESTP Paris and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Development at the Paris School of Urban Planning. Mariata Kane
Junior Investment Manager

Mariata joined Amandla Capital’s Niamey office in 2023, as a Junior Investment Officer in the Capital Management team.
Prior to Amandla Capital, Mariata was International Manager at International Bank of Mauritania, a privately-owned Mauritanian bank. She was in charge of managing relations with correspondent banks, as well as all issues relating to international trade activities. She also worked at Orabank Senegal in the Large Business Sales Department, managing a portfolio of companies operating in the industrial, hotel and construction sectors. She began her career in France with the CIC bank, before joining the BPI France public investment bank as a Credit Risk Analyst. Mariata holds a Master 2 in Banking, Finance and Stock Exchange from IAE Lyon III.

Alima Ba
Senior Investment Officer

Alima brings to Amandla Capital her skills in financial modeling and analysis, structuring and fundraising. Alima has over 8 years of experience in investment banking and investment funds (Fieldstone, Iwol Capital, AFIG Funds). She has been involved in large scale transactions in the energy, real estate and transportation sectors across Africa where she has developed her skills. Alima holds a Master in Finance from Sup de Co Dakar.

Mame Oumy Wade
Operations Manager

Mame Oumy joined Amandla Capital in November 2020 as a Real Estate Analyst. Based in Dakar, she started her career at Ernst & Young as a financial auditor where she conducted several audit missions for various companies in West Africa. She then joined the hotel sector by joining AccorHotels where she held the position of Senior Internal Auditor for 4 years, covering the West Africa and Indian Ocean zone. She was then promoted to Senior Business Analyst in Dubai, headquarters of the Middle East and Africa with a scope of 112 hotels. Mame Oumy holds a professional Master’s degree in Audit and Management Control from the Centre Africain d’études supérieures en Gestion de Dakar (CESAG).

Aimé Koffi
Finance & Control Officer

Aimé joined Amandla Capital in 2018 as an accounting analyst. Prior to Amandla Capital, he was a Business Assistant & Accountant at Silicon Villa Group, a company specialized in telecommunications with operations in Dakar, Casablanca and Abidjan. He supervised the accounting work with the various local firms, prepared administrative and financial files and managed transactions and banking operations. Aimé also worked at Orange Côte d’Ivoire on the supervision and audit of Orange Money transactions in the Bouaké department. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance & Accounting from the Institut de Préparation à l’Expertise Comptable (IPEC) in Abidjan and is preparing for his Chartered Accountant diploma.

Jérémie N'TAKPÉ
Chargé de Gestion d'Actif

Jérémie fait partie de l’équipe Asset Management. Il gère les portefeuilles d’actifs immobiliers des clients et a la charge de contribuer à leur performance. Avant de rejoindre Amandla Capital, Jérémie était Retail Property Manager & Network Developer chez Vivo Energy Côte d’Ivoire où il était en charge, sur le réseau des stations-services Shell, de la gestion des contrats et de la relation avec les administrations publiques, ainsi que du développement du réseau, notamment la construction neuve et la prise de contrôle avec changement d’enseigne de sites déjà bâtis. Jérémie a commencé sa carrière chez LBTP (Laboratoire du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics) où il est resté 5 années en tant qu’Ingénieur d’Études avant de se diriger vers un poste lui offrant plus d’exposition aux questions financières.

Jérémie est diplômé de l’ESTP/INP-HB (Yamoussoukro) en tant qu’Ingénieur des Travaux Publics.

Absalom Aboua
Assistant Logistique

Absalom a rejoint Amandla Capital en 2018, en tant qu’Office Assistant. Avant Amandla Capital, il était Assistant Comptable à la Chambre de commerce et d’Industrie de Côte d’Ivoire. Absalom a également travaillé à la Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire en qualité de Chargé de Clientèle.
Absalom est diplômé d’un MBA en Finance d’Edith Cowan University Perth (Australie) et d’un DSAE (diplôme spécialisé en administration d’entreprise) de l’Institut Supérieur d’Informatique Appliqué et de Management d’Agadir (ISIAM Agadir).

Mohamed Wade
Administrateur, Directeur Général

Mohamed a près de 30 ans de carrière de dirigeant d’entreprise et de banquier d’investissement dans les marchés émergents et dirige Amandla Capital. Il a développé l’accès au financement des PME et exécuté des investissements dans l’agro-industrie en Afrique et en Europe de l’Est à International Finance Corporation (IFC – Banque Mondiale). Mohamed est administrateur de plusieurs sociétés en Afrique de l’Ouest et du Nord. Il a fondé Amandla Capital Real Estate et piloté la structuration et le développement du pipeline immobilier hôtelier.
